Nessa’s all about body positivity, but this October we’re taking it up a notch. 🔥✨ We’re asking our community of warrior mothers to come together in force to smash unrealistic body representations.
Ah, body image. It can be a cruel bitch or your saving grace. We’d normally start a blog like this by stating how women and mothers face a mammoth amount of pressure to conform to a certain body type. But if you’re a woman over the age of about twelve years old, we’re betting you’re already keenly aware of that. To say that women face an impossible challenge doesn’t even begin to explain the problem.
We’re running a campaign throughout October to thrash damaging body ideals once and for all. Nessa is asking our incredible and awe-inspiring followers to share their stories. We want our tribe of mums to send in glorious pictures of stretch marks and scarring, lumps, bumps and waves of cellulite. Think Chessie King sticking her fingers up to the industry, and Bryony Gordon flaunting what her mother gave her. Throughout the month, we’ll share some of these photos on our Instagram feed, for the Nessa community to share in your body’s glory.
